Course Registration Procedures and Course Exemptions
1-Should I register for a course?
Yes, including newly registered students, they must register for a course.
2-How can I register for a course?
Select and finalize the courses of your class and term via OBS (Student Information System) within the registration renewal period specified in the Academic Calendar. The process will be completed if your advisor approves.
3-How can I log in to the Student Information System?
For those who will log in for the first time, you can log in by writing your student number as your username and the first five digits of your TR ID as your password.
4.-How can I find out my student number?

5-I could not complete my course registration within the deadline, what should I do?
You must apply to the department heads of your faculty or vocational school with a petition stating your valid excuse within 4 weeks from the week the classes start. If the relevant higher education institution board approves, you can register for your course with an excuse. Students who do not complete the course registration process cannot attend classes, take exams, or benefit from student rights. This period is counted as part of the education period.
6- Are there courses that I have previously passed at a higher education institution. Can I be exempt from these courses?
If you apply with a petition and the approved course contents, graduate transcript document, course contents of the courses you are studying within the first two weeks following the start of the education period, the relevant higher education institution's board of directors will evaluate the exemption issue for the courses. Detailed information is explained in our Associate and Undergraduate Degree Regulations.
7- Who is an advisor and what is their duty?
They are academic personnel assigned to assist you in academic and administrative matters during your education period.
