Attendance Requirement Procedures
1-Can a student who fails due to absenteeism take a make-up exam?

No.
3-Can a student who fails due to absenteeism attend the summer school for that course?
Yes.
4-Are excused periods (health report etc.) considered as absenteeism?
Yes. Excused periods are considered as absenteeism. In other words, the student is considered to have not fulfilled the attendance requirement during these periods.
5-How much of a course must a student attend during a semester?
There is an 80% attendance requirement for classes at our university. For example, a course taught for a total of 100 hours in a semester must be attended for at least 80 hours. Students who do not fulfill this requirement fail due to absenteeism and the letter “F3” appears on their grade cards. A student who fails a course due to absenteeism cannot take the make-up exam and single-course exam of that course; however, this course can be taken from summer school.
6-Is there a requirement to attend classes at your university?
Yes. Attendance at 80% of classes is mandatory at our university. Students who do not meet this requirement will fail due to absenteeism and will receive a letter grade of "F3" on their grade card.
